Murshidabad, Bharatpur: Even after seven decades of independence, I still see the faces of the roads in Radhanagar village. The residents expressed their anger over the lack of development in this village of Bharatpur-1 block. Votes come, votes go – but the condition of the roads does not change, this is their complaint. This village, which was built during the partition of the country, was built in 76 years and the main road is still lying in a raw and dilapidated condition. The name of the rain is like knee-deep mud, big holes and accumulation of water adds to the daily misery. From being a schoolboy to an older man, traveling around the world becomes practically miserable. The villagers face the problem of taking a sick person to the hospital. Out of anger, the residents recently submitted an application regarding public welfare. Their demand is that approximately 1600 meters of road from Gaudinagar village to the end of Radhanagar should be immediately paved. There is no promise and no delay - they have raised the demand of starting the work. In this regard, Bidyo Daoya Sherpa of Bharatpur-1 number block said that a written application has been received from the villagers. The administration is trying to solve the problem quickly. But there is only one question – will the administration's promise actually materialise, or will Radhanagar's name once again appear in the list of promises made before the elections? The whole village is looking for answers.
