Initiative taken by Rotary Club of Asansol Greater. In a press conference organized at Asansol Club on Saturday afternoon, Club President Sachin Roy said that many poor people in various districts including industrial areas cannot get artificial limbs replaced due to financial difficulties after losing their hands or legs due to accident or illness. This camp has been organized completely free of cost for them. He further informed that accommodation and food arrangements have also been made for the distressed people coming from other districts or remote areas. If there is delay in replacement due to any reason, they will be given necessary assistance. Present at the press conference were Asansol Municipal Corporation Chairman Amarnath Chatterjee, Deputy Mayor and former President of the Indian Club Abhijit Ghatak and Member of the Indian Council Gurudas Chatterjee. Entrepreneurs hope that through this training many helpless people will be able to return to their normal life afresh.
