মুর্শিদাবাদে বাবরি মসজিদ নির্মাণের সূচনা, ‘বাবরি যাত্রা’র ডাক জেইউপি সুপ্রিমো হুমায়ুন কবিরের

Nirbheek Bengali, Murshidaabad, West Bengal: On Wednesday, a religious program was organized in Belbanga of Rejinagar in Murshidabad under the initiative of JUP supremo Humayun Kabir. According to the organization, about 1,200 people, মৌলভী, মাওলানা ও মুফতি were present there. The ceremony begins with the recitation of the Quran and then the construction of the Babri Masjid is formally announced. Humayun Kabir said from the stage, 'Babri Yatra' will be organized on 12th February. According to his statement, the journey will start from প্লাসি in Nadiya district at 9 am and will travel to মলাদা and North দিনাজপু and reach Belbanga in মুর্শিদাবাদ. A total of 500 people will participate in about 100 vehicles, he claimed. There are also plans to hold meetings at some places along the way. If necessary, this journey can be extended to other districts also, he said. Humayun Kabir claims that the mosque construction will not stop under any circumstances. He said, the probable cost of the project is around Rs 300 crore, out of which around Rs 6 crore has been collected so far. He mentions that the construction may take three years to complete. It should be noted that there has already been political and social reaction around this initiative. It is being claimed that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad have opposed this construction. The organization has also informed about the protest programme. Considering the situation, security arrangements have also been strengthened across the state, the source said. In view of the 2026 assembly elections, speculations have started about the political implications of this initiative. According to a section of analysts, the issue is being seen as an attempt to influence the minority vote bank of the state. But no official response has been received from the concerned political parties on this matter. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation.
