In Pandaveshwar block, two important road construction projects were inaugurated by the West Bengal District Trinamool Congress President Narendranath Chakraborty in accordance with the budget of West Bengal District Council. In the first project, Rs 1 crore 8 lakh is being spent on the construction of the road from Mahal crossing of Pandaveshwar assembly to the mosque. Apart from this, the expenditure on construction of long road from Navgram village to Jodh Bandh has been estimated at Rs 89 lakh. The construction work on these two roads officially begins on Monday. On this occasion, MLA Narendranath Chakraborty said, the development program in Pandaveshwar assembly area is constantly adding new spinach. According to him, at present various road renovation and construction works are going on in Pandaveshwar Assembly constituency at a cost of about Rs. 77 crores. The MLA further said that due to the recent heavy rains many roads of Pandaveshwar Assembly were damaged. Keeping that situation in mind, the work of repairing all the damaged roads has been started step by step. Durgapur-Faridpur block and Pandaveshwar block - a road construction and improvement project worth about 77 crores worth Rs. 77 crores is currently being finalized in various accounts. Today he said, "The people of India do not believe in evil or false promises. People are believers in work. That is why Trinamool Congress is continuously working for the people and this trend of development will continue in future also."
