আসামে আদিবাসীদের উপর অত্যাচারের প্রতিবাদে জেলা শাসক দপ্তরে বিক্ষোভ

Nirbhik Bengali, Asansol, West Bengal: On Thursday morning, a protest was held in front of the District Magistrate on behalf of the tribal community of West Vandaman district in protest against the atrocities on the people of the tribal community in Assam. A protest procession started from BNR intersection and ended at the District Magistrate's office. Protestors allege that various types of atrocities have been going on against the tribal people in Assam for a long time. District Secretary of Tribal Community, Matilal Soren said, last 19th in Assam, some people claiming to be the sons of the land have destroyed the houses of the tribal community and are harassing the common people. Matilal Soren alleges that such a planned attack is being carried out with the aim of uprooting the tribal community from there. Their claim is that a message is being given in Assam that only people of a specific group can live there and people from the tribal community have no place. In protest against this incident, a memorandum has been submitted to the President through the District Magistrate on behalf of the tribal community. Their demand is to immediately intervene at the central level with the Assam government to stop all attacks on the tribal community people in Assam. There was tension for some time in the hands of the District Magistrate, Deputy Inspector General of Protest, but the situation was under control.
