Nirbheek Bengali, Raniganj: A major fire incident took place in the SBST bus on National Highway No. 19. Within moments the bus bursts into flames. But all the passengers inside the bus quickly got down and ran away and were saved from the major accident. On receiving the news of the incident, Trinamool leader of Paniol area, Sadhan Singh, informed the police about the incident. The fire department is also informed at the same time. On receiving the news, an engine from the fire department quickly reached the spot and brought the fire under control. After the incident, the bus driver was reported to be absconding. Till now no trace of him has been found. SBSTTC bus is completely gutted in fire. Due to the fire, a part of the national road was blocked for a long time. But the police took immediate action and moved the bus to one side of the road and normalized the movement of vehicles. According to the preliminary estimate of the fire department, this fire incident could have happened due to short circuit. It is learned that the SBSTC bus was going from Durgapur to Asansol.
