In the second phase, a grant of Rs 85 crore will be given for another 7 thousand 100 houses, said the District Magistrate. He further said, money has been sent directly to every consumer's bank account and authorization letters have also been handed over to some consumers. Apart from this, grant has also been given for Bengali Home Project as well as agricultural equipment, said the District Magistrate. Present at the event were District Council President Bishwanath Baur, District Council Mentor Bh. Shibdasan Dashu, various department officials, Panchayat Pradhan and public representatives. Zilla Parishad Chairman Bishwanath Bawar said, 12 lakh people have been given grants in 2025 and 20 lakh people in 2026 under Bengali Home Project.
