Saks, who had physical relations with a woman after luring her into marriage, got ten years' imprisonment.

Durgapur, West Bengal: In the Durgapur court since 2020, a woman had accused a man named Omresh Kumar Mandal of sexually harassing her, after which the woman got success today and the court declared the accused guilty and sentenced him to ten years imprisonment. According to the complaint, he had a long-term physical relationship with the woman with the promise of marriage. After which he started making different excuses for not marrying the woman and then one day he flatly refused to marry the woman, finally in 2020 the victim lodged a written complaint at Andal Police Station. Based on the complaint, the police started investigation and a case was registered against the accused. The hearing of this case continued in Durgapur Sub-District Court for many years. After examining the evidence, documents and statements of both the parties, the court found accused Omresh Kumar Mandal guilty. Today the court has sentenced the accused to ten years of rigorous imprisonment. This decision created a stir in the court premises.
