* Fearless Bengali: A woman named মৌ Rai was found unconscious in her house in Lalganj area of Barabnee assembly constituency. When family members took him to the hospital, they were informed that he had died. In the hospital, the dead woman's son finds some marks on her neck and the jewelery she was wearing is missing. Police later started investigation and sent the body to Asansol District Hospital for post mortem. Meanwhile, police investigation revealed that on January 3, deceased Mohd Rai had filed a theft case against his younger daughter-in-law Riya Rai at Asansol North Police Station. The brother of deceased Mohammed Rai filed a murder case and the police started investigating the matter. Investigation has revealed that a close friend of Riya Rai lived in Daltonganj area of Jharkhand, which raises suspicion that Riya Rai and her close friend resident of Daltonganj may be involved in this mysterious death. Later the police started searching for the youth from Daltonganj and arrested him from Bhagat Singh Mor in Asansol yesterday evening. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder of Mohd Rai and also admitted that Rhea Rai was involved in the case. Today both of them have been arrested. He is being presented in court. The court will demand his police protection and investigation will be started. DC Central Dhrucub Das said that the name of the youth from Daltonganj is Sameer Alam. He lived in a hotel in Asansol. Jewelery of the dead woman has been recovered from the hotel room. He said that the investigation is still in its initial stage.
