Fearless Bengali: On the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Basu's 129th birth anniversary, sports, cultural and entertainment programs have been started in the initiative of Netaji Sangh and Library on the occasion of 57th Annual Foundation Day of Devnagar Pariyarhat. This program will continue till 25th January. On the morning of January 23, the program started with the hoisting of the national flag, vote of thanks and tribute to the leader. On the same day, Anjnaali and prasad are distributed on the occasion of Sarasbati pujo. Today, on the second day of the event, the festival program became more lively with the official inauguration of the stage and the colorful procession. Present at the event was senior social worker Shanjib Kumar Rai. Also present were Club President Athiya Barman, Editor Nakul Barman, Program Committee President Lalit Chandra Rai and Editor Satyendranath Rai. On the occasion of the festival, many cultural competitions have been organized including drawing competition, poetry recitation, traditional musical music competition and popular Mechhni songs. More various sports and cultural programs will be organized in the coming days, the organizers said. According to the entrepreneurs, through this festival it will be possible to further strengthen the ideals of leadership and the spirit of folk culture among the new generation.
