Amid speculation and tension in state politics, a unique picture of courtesy and humanity was witnessed as top-tier leaders of the ruling party visited the residence of Mukul Roy's son, Subhrangshu Roy, to check on his family. Recently, upon receiving news of the illness or critical condition of Subhrangshu Roy's wife and a member of the family, a heavyweight delegation of the Trinamool Congress arrived at his Kanchrapara residence.
Present at Subhrangshu Roy's house on the day were prominent state ministers and leaders including Chandrima Bhattacharya, Bobby Hakim, Arup Biswas, Snehasish Chakraborty, Dr. Santanu Sen, and Ritabrata Banerjee, among other Trinamool leaders. Upon reaching Subhrangshu's house, they spoke at length not only with Subhrangshu but also with his young children, offering them comfort. This message of standing by the family in times of crisis, rising above political differences or distance, has been especially appreciated in political circles.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, the leaders stated that they are all deeply concerned and are praying to God for the speedy recovery of Subhrangshu Roy's wife so that she can return healthy and smiling to her family and children. Political analysts believe that the proximity and empathy of the party's top leaders during this difficult time will also provide mental strength to Subhrangshu Roy's family.
