Delhi's power will not last forever, one day 'fear will enter' - Mamata Banerjee's big statement

She said that her party was "defeated through coercion" and that the full truth would come out one day. Mamata stated that all agencies and central forces would not always remain with Delhi's power. She said that the day Delhi's power changes, "Fear In" will happen. Although Mamata Banerjee did not name any political party in her statement, it is being seen as an indirect attack on the BJP. Notably, before the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections, the BJP was using the slogan in its election rallies among voters— "Bid farewell to fear in Bengal and welcome trust." Mamata Banerjee's latest statement is being seen as a response to this slogan, in which she said that "Fear In" would happen in the state after Delhi's power changes. Following Mamata Banerjee's statement, it is being anticipated that political rhetoric in the state's politics will intensify once again.
