Yogi Adityanath's public meeting in Asansol, campaigned in support of BJP candidate Arjit Rai
Asansol, West Bengal: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived to address a public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Anchada village under Barabani assembly constituency of Asansol. During this, he appealed to vote in favor of BJP candidate Arjit Rai and fiercely targeted Trinamool Congress. Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath said that the land of Bengal has been the land of inspiration for India for centuries and will remain so in future also. He said that this land has given the national song and national anthem to the country. It also gave birth to great personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Rabindranath Tagore and Ramakrishna Paramhansa, whose stories will always be recorded in Indian history. Attacking the Trinamool Congress, he alleged that in the last 15 years, an atmosphere of terror, mafia rule and corruption has been created in the state. He said that syndicate rule is being run through sand, coal and land mafia and the money from the schemes sent by the central government is not reaching the general public. Yogi Adityanath said that there is an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the state, from which the people now want freedom. He claimed that there was a similar situation in Uttar Pradesh nine years ago, but the situation changed after the coming of the “double engine” government. He said that mafia and hooliganism have been controlled in UP and the pace of development has increased. In his address, he said that it is necessary to give a chance to BJP to make Bengal a riot-free and safe state. He advocated a “double engine” government and said that this would lead to faster development in the state. At the end of the meeting, he appealed to the people to make BJP candidate Arjit Rai victorious with huge votes.
