BJP MLA Agnimitra Pal attacks women's reservation bill, calls TMC and INDIA alliance "anti-women"

Asansol. BJP MLA Agnimitra Pal gave a strong statement in support of the Women's Reservation Bill, calling it a historic step towards the empowerment of women. He said that this bill is very important to advance women and provide equal opportunities in every field. Referring to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Agnimitra Pal said that the aim of the government is to provide equal respect to women in the country as men. Be it border security or scientific fields like ISRO, today women are walking shoulder to shoulder with men everywhere. At the same time, he targeted West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress and INDIA alliance, calling them "anti-women". His allegation was that these parties are against the Women's Reservation Bill and are becoming a hindrance in advancing women's rights. Commenting on Mamata Banerjee, Agnimitra Pal said that saying “Didi o Didi” is not an insult but a sign of respect. He clarified that BJP does not attack personal but political issues. The BJP MLA made serious allegations against the state government and said that the people of the state have been subjected to atrocities in the last 15 years. He also mentioned issues related to respect for the President and raised questions on the role of the state government. In the end he said that women, men and third gender should all get equal respect in the society and for this it is necessary to work in the right direction.
