অন্ডালে রোগীর মৃত্যুকে ঘিরে উত্তেজনা, হাসপাতালে ভাঙচুর

Fearless Bengali, Andal, 12 April: There was intense excitement around the death of a patient in a private hospital adjacent to Andal turn in West Vandaman at 12.30 pm on Sunday. After the complaint and death of the patient due to negligence in treatment, the hospital becomes a virtual battlefield. The deceased's family and relatives were enraged and carried out extensive vandalism in the hospital. It is said that this incident of vandalism happened in the presence of police. There is damage at many places inside and outside the hospital, and even several expensive cars are vandalized. Police forces and Central Army members reached the spot to bring the situation under control. Although there is tension in the area at present, the situation is said to be under control. Janane Galiya, deceased, Ishasmin Banu (52), resident of Bhardi Andler Arbind Nagar Allaya. According to family sources, on April 10, he was admitted to that private hospital due to stomach pain. He was operated on on Saturday and died on Sunday morning. This death occurred due to family complaint and medical negligence. Angered by this allegation, families and locals joined the protest and carried out vandalism. The family of the deceased claims that the hospital authorities will have to take responsibility for the life of the deceased child and pay appropriate compensation. However, no response has been received so far from the hospital authorities regarding this incident. Police and central forces are still deployed in the area.
