সরস্বতী পুজোকে কেন্দ্র করে উত্তেজনা হিঙ্গলগঞ্জে, বাইক ভাঙচুর ও একাধিক বাড়িতে হামলার অভিযোগ

Allegedly, two bikes were vandalized and several houses were attacked in the area adjacent to River Guard Market. According to local sources, a cultural program is organized on the occasion of Dulduli Khajajanji Padaya Sarasbati Pujo. During that event, an argument broke out between the two parties over mobile video recording, which later escalated into a fight. Then, according to the allegation, a group of youths from Duldulli Khajanji Pada came to Sahebkhali Village Panchayat area and vandalized two bikes and a car in the dark of night. The owner of the damaged car is said to be Shantanu Mandal. After receiving the news of the incident, Sahebkhali police reached the spot, talked to the two parties and brought the situation under control temporarily. However, after the complaint, Santu Mandal, the husband of a member of Sahebkhali Village Panchayat, was beaten up on a public road. At that time, journalists who went to the incident site to collect news were attacked and their mobile phones were stolen. A bike owner complains, "No action was taken against those who vandalized my car. But I was beaten up. I want answers as to why a public representative or someone from his family would behave like this." On this matter, Sahebkhali Gram Panchayat head Ashutosh Kamila said, "This matter is a matter for the entire administration to look into. Why would there be trouble by coming from one area to another at night, that should be looked into by the administration." On the other hand, according to the complaint of the general residents of the area, in the dark of night, 10 to 15 people came on bikes and created havoc in the area. An attempt is also made to break the door of the house. Locals claim that if prompt and strict administrative action is not taken, the situation may get worse.
