Health Minister engaged in serving Kanwariyas in Deoghar, himself monitoring medical arrangements

Deoghar: Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari is continuously monitoring the healthcare arrangements for Kanwariyas during the Shravani Mela in Deoghar. The minister himself is inspecting various health camps and meeting injured and ill devotees to gather information about their treatment. He has directed all emergency health services to remain on alert mode so that immediate medical assistance can be provided in any situation. Approximately 40 health camps have been set up across the entire mela area for the convenience of devotees during the Shravani Mela. A total of 228 doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff have been deployed in these camps. Additionally, 100 beds at Deoghar Sadar Hospital and 50 beds at AIIMS Deoghar have been specially reserved for Kanwariyas to treat serious patients. According to the Health Department, ensuring safe travel and better healthcare facilities for millions of devotees is the government's top priority. For this purpose, medical teams have been kept on standby 24/7, and regular monitoring of health services is being conducted throughout the mela area.
