Nirbheek Bengali, Asansol, West Bengal: Like every year, a mega eye and health camp is organized in collaboration with the Round Table at the Maithon Steel Power Limited plant located at Dendua Mor in the Barabani assembly area of Asansol. The institute was jointly inaugurated by Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of Maithon Steel Power Limited, Puneet Agarwal, Chairman of Asansol Shibrali Round Table and philanthropist Krishna Lal Agarwal. They inaugurated the school by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp together. Madhu Agarwal, Director of Maithon Steel Power Limited and Kaushal Agarwal were present as special guests in this event. The arriving guests are welcomed with flower petals. Giving details about Mega Eye Test, Chairman Vinod Kumar Agarwal said, this mega eye test was organized at his plant. This year, the eyes of more than 800 people have been examined. Besides, many poor and needy people have been provided free eye operations, spectacles and medicines. He further said that his organization is always committed to provide better health services to the people of the area and will continue to support various social and health related works including eye health in future. On the other hand, Chairman of Asansole Education Round Table, Puneet Agarwal said, Round Table mainly works in the field of education and goes to rural areas and tries to bring back the basic sources of education to all those children who are deprived of education due to various reasons. He said, Round Table and Maithon Steel Power Limited have been jointly organizing this mega eye training every year and this service will continue in future also. Apart from this, the organization also provides complete assistance to the needy people in other areas of the society. Prateek Bansal, Rahul Kharkiya, Ankit Agarwal and Abhishek Jindal and Akash Gadyan of Lions Club of Asansol were specially present on behalf of the round table.
