Nirbheek Bengali, Kulati, West Vandaman: BJP candidate Dr. Ajya Podar made a strong sarcasm against the Trinamool Congress government after facing the anger of the local people while campaigning. On Tuesday morning, he went out to campaign in various areas of Kulti Assembly and listened to the problems of the local people. The candidate claims that there are many problems in the area for a long time, yet no representative of Trinamool Congress has come there. As a result, people are forced to raise their problems before him. Basic services like drainage, sanitation and drinking water are in poor supply, he complains. In his words, these problems were not solved despite the Trinamool Congress government and the municipality being under their control in the state. He also claims that despite the funds from the Central Government project, the work of providing drinking water to every household was not done properly. Criticizing TMC for pinning the blame on the MLA, he said, this is actually an attempt by the ruling party to cover up its own failure. Before the elections, the political situation in the community is becoming increasingly heated due to such allegations and counter-allegations.
