Asansol, monthly salary of Rs 15,000 and insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh in case of death while on duty, immediate payment of outstanding incentive amount, government employee status and payment of maternity leave, mobile phone expenses and other allowances. ASHA workers, who were going to protest in Kolkata Swasthya Bhavan demanding the demand for health care, were stopped by the police at Asansol railway station. Outside the station, ASHA workers launched a movement against the state government, sat on a dharna, while BJP's state level leader Krishnendu Mukherjee came to help the ASHA workers. Making many serious allegations against the state government, Mamata Banerjee is working to stop every Gana movement by giving it national power and national machinery. She said that these ASHA workers were organized in Kolkata. She was going to join the Swasthya Bhawan movement, but she was stopped by the police and was not allowed to catch the train. They know that these ASHA workers work like a backbone for health services, in such a situation, we are with this mother power and are supporting them with morality.
