An incident of gang rape on a minor took place in Chinchuria village of Barabani police station of Asansol on Thursday midnight. A fair was going on in that area for quite some time. Many shopkeepers and businessmen had come to the fair. There was a seller's house near the premises of the fair. Allegation When the girl went to the bathroom in the campus of the house at midnight on Thursday, the businessmen who had come to the fair pushed the wall to her house and took away the girl. Then the girl was found in an unconscious state, reports the source. When the news of the incident spread, the local people caught hold of several people and the two accused were beaten up by the agitated public, it is alleged. The police had to face the brunt of the situation. Two people ran away and 5 people were handed over to the police. The accused are said to be residents of Veerbhoomi.
