নির্বাচনের আগে AJUP-এ বড় ধাক্কা: কুলটি থেকে প্রার্থী তাহির খানসহ ৫০ জন যোগ দিলেন তৃণমূলে

Asansol, West Bengal – Just before the assembly elections of 2026, the state's emerging political party AJUP is facing a big setback. AJUP candidate from Kulti assembly constituency of Asansol, Tahir Khan suddenly stepped away from the election contest and joined Trinamool Congress (TMC) along with about 50 of his supporters. Tahir Khan joined the party in the presence of senior TMC leader and Asansol North Center candidate Malya Ghatak. His decision not only weakened AJUP's election strategy but also raised questions about the leadership and future planning of party chief Humayun Kabir. It is known that this step of Tahir Khan can cause a big political loss for AJUP, especially when the party is trying to establish itself as the third force in the state. While explaining his decision, Tahir Khan said, he had taken the decision of contesting the elections on behalf of AJUP, which he is now revising. He made it clear that from now on he will work with full devotion with Trinamool Congress and will move forward under the leadership of Chief Ministers মমতা বন্দ্যোপা ধয়য়, Abhishek বন্দ্যোপ ধয়য় and মলে ঘটিয়. But till now no official reaction has come from AJUP chief Humayun Kabir's side on this entire incident, as a result of which heated discussion has started in the political circles.
