Keeping in view the upcoming assembly elections of 2026, BJP published a charge sheet against the Trinamool Congress government. The country's Home Minister Amit Shah recently raised several corruption allegations against the West Bengal government. In view of this, in a press statement from BJP's organizational district office in Basirhat, District President Sukalyan Baidya brought forward various allegations against the state government. He claimed that several heavyweight ministers and leaders of the state have been arrested on corruption charges. He further said that the present government is facing controversy on many issues including job scam, ration corruption, coal, cow and sand waste. In this situation, the people of the state want change, he claims. According to Sukalyan Baidya, this government plagued by corruption charges does not need to remain in power any more and BJP's victory in the upcoming elections is certain, he claimed.
