BJP state leader Krishnandu Mukhopa Dhyay said, "India is a country of coordination of all religions and all languages. No language should be considered separately here." On the other hand, Board Chairman of Asansol Municipal Corporation and TMC leader Dr. Debashish Sarkar said, “The Trinamool believes in development, not in language-based division.” But the Bengali side is in their position. The district president of the organization said that Bengali candidates will be given to all the seats in the state – this is their clear demand.
