নির্বাচন কমিশনের কর্মীদের মারধর, গ্রেপ্তার তিন—আদালতে পেশ

Nirbhik Bengali, Durgapur: Three people were arrested in the attack on Election Commission employees. On Monday, the accused were produced before the Durgapur Municipal Court. It is learned that Election Commission employees had gone to erase election wall writing from the government wall. At that time they were attacked, it is alleged. Two workers became victims of assault in the incident. Allegations arose that some local people and a section of Trinamool supporters were involved in the attack. Based on this incident, the police of Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate-Kokven police station started investigation and arrested three people. Their names are Prasenjith Maharani alias Bapan, Nandlal Kumar Sau alias Tingku and Rabi Pashwan. All of them are said to be residents of ward number 30 of Durgapur. According to police sources, the entire incident is under investigation and necessary legal action is being taken against the accused.
