Shatrughan Sinha claimed in the meeting that Hari Ram Singh's victory is certain and called upon the party workers to work together to ensure that victory. He attacked a section of the media and said, the news being spread about Bengali riots and peace is completely false. In his words, an atmosphere of peace and harmony is maintained in the state. Today he raised allegations against Union Home Minister Amit Shah of influencing the Election Commission. According to him, this is why this election has become the most important in the last 15-20 years. He further alleged that the Election Commission and BJP are working together. Shatrughan Sinha further claimed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been forced to approach the Supreme Court for the first time in protest against the role of BJP and the Election Commission. Besides, he mentioned various public welfare projects of the state government – ​​Swasthya Sathi, Sanjub Sathi, Kanyashree and Roopashree – and said that these projects have benefited the common people. His complaint was that the Central Government had withheld Rs. 22 thousand crores, which the State Government had borne from its own funds. Facing the media, he further said, allegations of vote theft have been raised against BJP in various states of the country, but that will not be allowed to happen in Bengali. His claim is that as long as Mamta Bandhyopa Dhyay is in power, BJP will not be able to come to power in the state. Meanwhile, despite the election code of conduct being in force, a controversy arose over the issue of having blue beacon in his car. Regarding this, Shatrughan Sinha said that he has come to Bengal recently and will look into the matter. Due to the controversy, the blue beacon was later removed from his car. On the other hand, Jammu and Kashmir BJP candidate Dr. Bijan Mukhopa Dhyay responded and said that no leader should use the blue beacon when the code of conduct is in force. He complains that TMC leaders are violating the rules and a complaint will be lodged in the Election Commission in this regard.
