দুর্গাপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসায় গাফিলতির অভিযোগে উত্তেজনা, যুবকের মৃত্যুকে ঘিরে বিক্ষোভ

Nirbhik Bengali, Durgapur: There was widespread excitement on Tuesday night over the allegation of medical negligence in Durgapur Mahakuma Hospital. Alleging that a youth who was seriously injured in an accident died due to delay in treatment, the family members broke out in protest over the incident. It is learned that two riders sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two bikes in front of MMC Hospital under New Township police station. Among them, a young man named Ankit Hela (22) was brought to Durgapur Mahkuma hospital in a critical condition. The family alleges that after being brought to the hospital, the injured youth was left without treatment for about an hour. Due to this, the family and relatives of the deceased became angry. A massive protest begins in front of the emergency department. Parijaat Gandutul leads the protest. The situation quickly escalated and chaos broke out in the hospital. The video of the incident spread on social media. Police reached the spot to control the situation. Later the agitators had to be removed and the situation brought under control. But till now there has been no official response from the hospital authorities regarding the allegation of medical negligence.
