দুর্গাপুরে তৃণমূলের পতাকায় আগুন, ফ্লেক্স কেটে দেওয়ার অভিযোগে উত্তেজনা

Nirbheek Bengali, own correspondent, Durgapur: There is widespread excitement over the allegations of burning the party flag of Trinamool Congress and cutting the flex put up in support of the candidate in Nepali Pada area of ward no. 31 of Durgapur. Allegedly, on Monday night, a house in the area was set on fire by miscreants who had put up a Tricolor flag. That fire spread to the water pipes of the house also. But for some reason major accidents have been avoided and the residents of the house are safe. There is tension in the area since the incident. Block No. 3 Trinamool Kisan Cell President Sheikh Azgar Ali alleges that BJP is doing this deliberately considering its defeat in Durgapur West Centre. Although BJP has completely denied the allegation. Party's Durgapur West candidate Lakshman Ghoddu countered and claimed that Trinamool is adopting such tactics to mislead people. Tension is increasing in various parts of the state over incidents like burning of political parties' flex or flags. As the voting progresses, the political palace seems to be on the verge of political conflict.
