TMC MP Dola Sen shown black flags, BJP protest creates tension in Durgapur

Nirbhik Bangla, Durgapur: BJP workers and supporters showed black flags to Rajya Sabha MP Dola Sen in protest. The incident sparked tension in the Chaitanya Avenue area of Durgapur's steel city on Wednesday. MP Dola Sen was present at a blood donation camp organized by the Durgapur Steel Plant Workers' Union of the Trinamool labor organization. After the event, when she came out of the office, a section of BJP workers and supporters started protesting by showing black flags. The protesters chanted slogans like 'Dola Sen Hai Hai' and 'Dur Hato'. The sudden protest created extreme tension in the area. Police and security personnel quickly intervened to control the situation and safely escorted the MP out of the spot. There were no reports of any unpleasant situation or arrest in the incident. However, the incident sparked political tension in the area for some time.
