দুর্গাপুরে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর পাঁচ জেলা নিয়ে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক, প্রস্তুতি সম্পূর্ণ

Nirbheek Bengali, Durgapur, 21 May: State Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is coming to West Bengal for the first time on Thursday after taking charge as the Chief Minister. Administrative preparations have already been strengthened for his first important administrative meeting in the industrial city of Durgapur. The administration was busy since morning focusing on the meeting which was being held at Srijani Auditorium in the city. Security arrangements have been tightened in the areas adjacent to Srinagar Auditorium and City Centre. Along with the police officers, the special team responsible for the security of the Chief Minister visited the area. The entire auditorium is examined through sniffer dogs and metal detectors. According to administrative sources, top administrative officers of the state including the Chief Secretary and DG are expected to be present in this meeting with the Chief Minister. Besides, the District Magistrate, Police Superintendent, Police Commissioner, Parliamentarian, MLA, Police Station Officer and Inspector General of five districts of South Bengal will participate in the meeting. In this meeting, there is a possibility of detailed discussion on the developmental projects, government services, industrial expansion, infrastructure development and public welfare programs of West Vandaman, East Vandaman, Puruliya, Bankudah and Birbhoom districts. Police surveillance has been increased across the city regarding the Chief Minister's visit. Special arrangements have been taken for traffic control, VIP security and guest hospitality. There has been a lot of enthusiasm in the political circles around this visit. According to political observers, this meeting can be very important in terms of administrative outline and development planning for the coming days. Incidentally, on Wednesday Durgapur East BJP MLA Chandrashekhar Bandyopadhyay had said that the Chief Minister will reach Durgapur at 1:30 pm on Thursday and the administrative meeting will start at Srijani Auditorium from 2 pm. Meanwhile, on Thursday morning the Chief Minister first went to Belur Math-e. He is scheduled to come to Durgapur after the administrative meeting at the airport.
