Present in the meeting were MP Kirti Azad, District Magistrate Pannamblam S, District Magistrate Suman Biswas, DBC Project Director Sukumar Saha, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad Islam and DBC Senior General Manager Amit Modi and many other administrative officials. MP Kirti Azad said, "There will be a plan. There is full cooperation from the state government. There are various administrative complications, this meeting aims to remove them. It has been said that trees will be cut as much as necessary." DBC Project Director Sukumar Saha said, "For this big project, about 7 thousand trees will have to be cut. Out of which 1 thousand trees will have to be transplanted. Apart from this, 35 thousand trees have already been planted to maintain the balance of the environment." Not only the promotion of industry, importance is also being given to protecting the environment, it has been informed by the administration. A plan has been taken to take the project forward by reducing the coordination between development and environment. Before the start of the meeting, local residents gathered in front of the Mahakuma administrative building. As soon as he reached the Parliament, common people surrounded him. Their demand is that the project work should be completed quickly and the pace of industrial development in Durgapur should not stop. Many people congratulated the MP by giving flowers and flowers and requested for speedy implementation of the project.
