আগুনঝরা বাইকের দাপট রুখতে কড়া ট্রাফিক অভিযান দুর্গাপুরে

Nirbheek Bengali, Durgapur: The sound of fire coming from the bike's silencer, the sound of bullets in a strange sound - this 'Haliud-Taliud Marka' sound and light - the people of Durgapur are in terror. Every day, in different parts of the industrial area, people like pedestrians as well as motorists are getting harassed due to such noise and fire emitting bikes. To stop this illegal and dangerous traffic, the traffic department of Asansol-Durgapur Police Commissionerate conducted a special traffic operation at Gandhi Morh in Durgapur on Saturday evening. During the operation, several bikes with burning exhaust, loud noises and fitted with illegal silencers were seized. According to police sources, bikers who break the rules during the operation are fined and given strict warnings for the future. Traffic Inspector-3 Santosh Bhakat said, “If you use such a silencer or exhaust in future, no further warning will be given. Strict legal action will be taken immediately. If necessary, the driving license will be canceled and the car will be impounded.” Common people heaved a sigh of relief in this police operation. The residents of the city claim that if such operations become regular, a safe and peaceful environment will return to Durgapur.
