Fearless Bengali Shyam Das, Bhoomi Pujo of a big private hospital project was organized with the aim of opening new horizons of modern health care in Durgapur. BJP state president Shamik Bhattacharya was present at the event organized on Thursday. Project promoter Kalpana In-Er's CEO Hinmoy Das said, the proposed hospital will have a total of 6.500 beds. The construction of the hospital with 200 beds is being started in the first phase. On this day, that work is formally started through Bhoomi Puja. Bishnupur MP Shaumitra Khan-O was present at the event. Also, eminent personalities from various fields and local residents participated in the event. According to the entrepreneurs, once this hospital becomes operational, the people of industrial area Durgapur and surrounding areas will get modern and advanced medical services. It is hoped that it will play an important role in the health system of the region through expert doctors, modern equipment and multifaceted services.
