BJP leaders pushed in Durgapur, many people including MP fell

Durgapur (West Bengal): Many leaders and workers, including BJP's Bankura MP Somitr Khan, who reached Durgapur's Fortune Hotel to meet BJP National President Nitin Naveen, who is on a two-day visit to West Bengal, fell on the ground when suddenly a scuffle started while entering the hotel premises. According to the information, a large number of BJP leaders and workers were trying to forcibly enter the hotel by breaking the security cordon to enter the hotel. Meanwhile, the crowd became uncontrollable and mutual pushing and shoving started, due to which many leaders, workers and some journalists including MP Somitra Khan fell on the ground. According to eyewitnesses, during this chaos, some people also complained of theft of their purse. The security personnel present at the spot, after a lot of effort, brought the situation under control and moved the crowd away from the hotel premises. After the incident, security arrangements have been tightened around Fortune Hotel. At present the situation is said to be under control.
