Such a shocking incident has created a huge stir in Diamond Harbour. According to local sources, on the day of the wedding of Anwar Hussain Khan, resident of booth number 70, १६६१, block no. 1 of block number 1 of Diamond Harbor assembly, notice of hearing of SIR (Special Intensive Revision) came from the Election Commission. The bridegroom was forced to attend the hearing center situated in ষটমনিষা primary school in his wedding attire. Not only the groom, many of his family members and a total of 38 people including wedding guests were called for hearing on the same day. As a result, a large part of the wedding procession stood in line at the hearing center along with the bridegroom and submitted the documents. According to family sources, the notice for this hearing was sent due to the spelling mistake in the name of the voter list and problems related to un-mapping. The bride and groom protested against the conduct of such hearings in the name of SIR. Let us tell you, the father's house is in the house. Preparations for the marriage continued for a long time but on the day of the marriage, hearing notice came and the family faced extreme problems. It was not possible to complete many of the prescribed marriage formalities on time, the complaint said. Note that out of about 1100 voters in the concerned booth, SIR notices have been sent to about 500 people. Since Tuesday morning, a long line of voters could be seen in front of শাটমনিষা primary school. Family members said that the date of hearing fell on the day of an important personal event like marriage, which has resulted in mental stress as well as social problems.
