Fearless Bengali: Netaji Subhash Chandra Basu's 129th birth anniversary was celebrated as a well-deserved honor under the initiative of Vidhan Smriti Manch in Vidhan Nagar of Durgahpur. The event begins at 10 am on Friday with the hoisting of the national flag. After this, the members of Vidhan Smriti Manch paid tribute to Netaji's statue. The members present at the event pledged to dedicate themselves to various social services keeping in mind the ideals and patriotism of Netaji Subhash Chandra Basu. Remembering the sacrifice and ideals of Netaji, the day is properly observed in the premises of Vidhan Nagar Vidhan Smriti Manch.
