On the occasion of International Yoga Day, 'Run for Yoga' program

নির্ভীক বাংলা,দুর্গাপুর, ১৯ জুন: আন্তর্জাতিক যোগ দিবসকে সামনে রেখে দুর্গাপুর পুরসভা, আসানসোল-দুর্গাপুর উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ (এডিডিএ) এবং আসানসোল-দুর্গাপুর পুলিশ কমিশনারেটের যৌথ উদ্যোগে, দুর্গাপুর মহকুমা যোগা অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সহযোগিতায় শুক্রবার সকালে অনুষ্ঠিত হল ‘রান ফর যোগা’ কর্মসূচি। On this day, a colorful procession emerges from in front of the ADDA building located in the city center of Durgapur. The reality circumambulated various routes of the city and ended at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Ground. Officials of Durgapur Municipal Corporation and ADDA, representatives of various public representatives and people of various age groups from small to old participated enthusiastically in the yoga practice program organized there. Durgapur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad said that on the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, various programs have been organized under the initiative of the Government of India and the Government of West Bengal. As part of that program, Durgapur Municipal Corporation is actively preparing to celebrate Yoga Day. He said, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, a special yoga exercise program will be organized at Sidhu-Kanu Indoor Stadium and Nehru Stadium of Durgapur. The registration process for the participants has already started and Durgapur Mahakumar has received huge response from various quarters. Abul Kalam Azad said, "We hope that we will be able to celebrate International Yoga Day successfully and through encouragement and inspiration. Our aim is to spread the message of building a healthy body and a healthy mind to more people through yoga."
