On World Cycling Day, the message of environment and fitness, a colorful cycle rally in Salanpur

Nirbhik Bengali, Salanpur, 8 June: To highlight the importance of environmental protection, health awareness and fitness, a colorful cycle rally was organized in Salanpur block on the occasion of World Bicycle Day. Under the initiative of Youth Welfare and Sports Department of West Bengal Government and keeping in mind the idea of ​​'Fit India Movement', a special program 'Sunday on Cycle' is organized on Sundays. The rally starts from Achdha Jogeshwar Institute campus at 7 am on Sunday. The cycle started amidst great excitement and enthusiasm and circumambulated till the Achchha Punchayeth office. The main objectives of the program were to increase health awareness among the common people, encourage environment-friendly travel system and highlight the importance of regular physical exercise. According to the organizers, this initiative has been taken keeping in mind the core idea of ​​the Prime Minister's declared 'Fit India Movement' - 'Fitness Freedom'. The message of how physical fitness can be made a part of daily life even in the midst of a busy life is conveyed to the participants. This rally, held in the serene atmosphere of the morning, received a massive response. Achhada Jogeshwar Institute and Achhada Rai Balram Hai Schoolton teachers-teachers and students participated. Apart from this, various sports lovers, social workers and local residents also participated in the rally. Prominent persons including Uday Kumar Pal, Sabyasachi Mahato and Rumali Das were present at the event. They all participated in this awareness program by riding bicycles.
