On the occasion of International Youth Day 2026, Border Security Force South Bengal Frontier organized a 15 km long cycle rally from Frontier Headquarters at Rajarhat today. The aim of this initiative was to motivate the youth towards physical fitness, environmental awareness and responsible citizenship.
The program was formally flagged off by Shri Daljit Singh, IPS, Inspector General, Headquarters BSF South Bengal Frontier in the presence of senior officers. BSF jawans of all ranks participated with full enthusiasm and enthusiasm, reflecting their collective spirit and commitment towards this initiative. The cycle rally passed through the modern heart of Kolkata from Frontier Headquarters to the iconic Biswa Bangla Gate and back.
During the rally, the participants also gave inspirational messages to the general public, especially the youth, along the route. He called upon the youth to adopt physical fitness, lead a healthy lifestyle, protect the environment and contribute positively towards the society.
