As technological development is increasing day by day, cyber crime is also increasing at the same time. This type of crime has become rampant in different parts of the country. All kinds of arrangements are being made by the government to control cyber crime. Various units of the government are working to control this crime. Cyber Security and Crime Unit of Asansol Durgapur Police is working to control cyber crime. Similarly, Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate's Salanpur Under the initiative of the police station, a cyber cell and a CCTV control room as well as a women's help center, a child friendly corner and a waiting room are inaugurated in the police station. On this day, the cyber cell and CCTV control room were inaugurated by DC (West) Sandeep Karar, and ACP (KC) S.K. Karar informed that such control rooms are being inaugurated in every police station of West Bengal district. Today, along with visiting the Salanpur police station area, all these control rooms were inaugurated. Just as common people are constantly falling victim to cyber fraud through various social media platforms, lakhs of people are becoming victims of cyber crime in different areas. To ensure their safety, every police station is being trained and working on cyber security. To keep the common people safe, this police unit will provide 24 hours service. and 4 ANPR cameras Today, 39 cameras and one ANPR camera have been installed.
