রাজ্যজুড়ে আদালতে বোমাতঙ্ক, তামিলনাড়ু থেকে হুমকি মেল—তল্লাশিতে ডগ ও বোম স্কোয়াড

Asansol / Durgapur / Dhanbad, 24-25 February: There was intense excitement over the bomb threat mail sent to several courts in the state. Bomb blast threats were received through emails at Asansol District and District Courts, Durgapur Mahkuma Courts and Dhanbad Courts of Jharkhand. Asansol District CourtAround 11 am on Tuesday morning, a threat message came in the email of Nagaland District Judge. It is written in Bengali that the demand is made in the mail, RDX has been kept in the court chamber and the explosion will be done after the prayers. The matter was immediately reported to Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate.Deputy Commissioner (Central) arrived at the scene of the incident along with several senior officials. The court building and its courtyard are completely emptied. Undertrial prisoners, lawyers, court workers and common people are taken safely. The search operation begins with a dog squad and a bomb squad. The investigation was going on till the last news was received. Dhanbad Court Meanwhile, an email threatening to plant a bomb in Dhanbad Court is sent to Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar. After receiving the news the court premises were evacuated. After reaching the spot, bomb squad and dog squad started searching. According to police sources, precautionary measures have been taken in all cases and the source of the emails is being traced. Till now explosives have not been found anywhere but preliminary information is still under investigation. Due to the incident, security arrangements have been tightened at the court premises. To avoid panic, the administration has appealed to the general public not to listen to the news.
