জামুড়িয়া-য় জমি মাফিয়া রাজের অভিযোগ, আদালতের নির্দেশ অমান্যের দাবি

Fearless Bengali, Jamudiya: There is a stir in Akhalpur area under Jamudiya police station in front of the MLA's office due to the allegation of land mafia trespassing. The complaint is that the land being purchased in the name of four land owners without completing the land distribution agreement is being wrongly handed over to a third party. Even a claim has been raised that construction is going on in several lands without proper acquisition process. The complainant, বাবু বন্দ্যোপা ধ্যায়, a recently retired mine worker. His claim is that in 2009-2010, he jointly purchased several land parcels of land with some partners using his retirement savings. Presently those partners are selling the land without informing him. If he took the matter to the court, he would get a stay. Yet, despite the court ban, land sales and construction continue. According to the source, on 24th February, construction was going on in that land. After receiving the news, the family of Babalu Bandyopadhyay informed the police and after reaching the spot, the police stopped the construction site. This incident has created a huge stir in the area regarding land fraud and the activities of so-called land mafia. Locals question, if land sale and construction can continue like this by disobeying the court's orders, then where is the role of the administration in maintaining law and order? Hari Ram Singh said that the matter has come to his notice and initiative has been taken to resolve it. If necessary, strict action will be taken through the appropriate department, he assured. On the other hand, Sheikh Sandar, Chairman of Number One Bureau of Investigation, said that the complaint has already reached him. No injustice will be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the culprits once evidence is found. Presently the matter is sub judice. Police started investigating the entire incident.
