Congress protests at district collector's office with various demands

Fearless Bengali, Asansol: Kulti Block National Congress organized a protest program in front of the District Magistrate's office in the morning, putting forward various public interest claims. Party leaders and workers took part in the protest and later raised several demands for the administration. Kulti Block National Congress President Sukant Das complained that after coming to power, the BJP government made many promises but in reality the problems of the common people are not being solved. There is a discrepancy between their claims, the government's statement and position, resulting in confusion among the common people. He further alleged that the elected representatives of Asansol Municipal Corporation were not able to be found for a long time and the common people were facing problems in signing various documents and getting the necessary administrative work done. From the protest stage, Congress demanded a quick solution to the long-standing drinking water problem in the Kulti area. Along with this, a demand is also raised for immediate improvement in the poor condition of the road leading to Desergarh. Sukant Das also expressed concern about the law and order situation. His claim is that in the last one week, several murders have taken place at various places in the Kulti area, which has created an atmosphere of panic among the common people. Therefore, in the interest of public safety, a demand is made to increase the number of CCTV cameras in important areas and strengthen police patrolling. If the statements of the Congress leadership and the raised demands are not implemented soon, the party will be forced to take the path of bigger agitation in the coming days.
