At 12 noon on Thursday, while carrying out excavation and production work in coal mine in Nagaland, Salanpur ICL area, a mining machine plane belonging to a private contractor company (AIPL) suddenly caught fire. This incident spread panic throughout the coal mine. Then, within some time, the fire spread to the entire machine. But after many efforts, the fire was brought under control after about 2 hours of efforts by ICL and outsourcing company by pouring water in water tanker. Regarding this incident, Mohbanpur agent Shubhash Mandal said, during the maintenance work, a fire suddenly broke out in a plane machine of a private company working in the colliery, it took almost 2 hours of effort to bring it under control.
