In this situation, BJP joins the protest in front of Chittaranjan police station demanding quick arrest of the culprits. Present in the day's program was BJP candidate from Barabani Assembly Arjiji Rai along with the party's district leadership and many local residents. A tense situation arises in front of the police station due to the protest. To control the situation, the police created barricades but when the angry workers tried to break them and enter inside, a scuffle broke out with the police. Later, after a long period of tension, the protesters handed over a copy of their demands to the police officer. Arijit Rai strongly criticized the role of police from the protest stage. He said, the murder of a former national level player in Dindupur in a safe city like Chittaranjan, yet no one has been arrested is very worrying. He claims that even after identifying the culprits on CCTV footage, the police failed to take action. He warned the police by giving them an ultimatum of 72 hours, if the accused were not arrested within the stipulated time, the movement would take a bigger shape and if necessary the city would be brought to a standstill. It may be noted that a few weeks ago, a boy was brutally murdered. Due to this incident, local residents are raising questions about law and order in the area. Anger and uncertainty is increasing among common people due to lack of arrest despite having CCTV footage.
