On Thursday, the dispute between two groups of BJP in Ushagram area became so intense that the situation finally escalated into a fight, it is alleged. BJP leader Rahul Singh of Kalipahaadi area was seriously injured in the incident. On the other hand, BJP leader of ward number 38, Banti, took this incident to heart and reached Asansol South police station.
According to local sources, a heated argument broke out between BJP leader Banti and BJP's police chief Rahul Singh over some issue in Ushagram area. According to eyewitnesses, after a long argument between the two parties, the situation suddenly became heated and a scuffle took place. Rahul Singh got injured in this incident. Later he had to be admitted to Asansol District Hospital for treatment.
