Nirbheek Bengali, Baankudha: A BJP leader has been arrested in Baankudha due to a long standing dispute regarding the ownership of a pond. Doctor's name is Gopal Dhibar. Last night, the police of Bankudu Sadar police station arrested him on charges of assault, threat and obstructing police work. Today the accused is to be presented in the Bankudu district court. According to police sources, Gopal Dhibar was having a long standing dispute with the local Datta family over the ownership of a pond in Bankududha city. A complaint was filed at the Baankudu Sadar police station regarding this. Recently, when investigating the incident, allegations of obstructing the police work and threatening the investigating officers were filed against Gopal Dhibar. He has to be arrested on the basis of that allegation. On the other hand, the senior BJP leader claims that he is a victim of political violence. He alleges that because of BJP he has been arrested and framed in a false case.
