Asansol, on the occasion of National Doctors' Day, BJP MLA from Asansol North Assembly Constituency, Krishnendu Mukherjee, paid a heartfelt tribute to the great physician, renowned educator, and former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, on his birth and death anniversary. On this occasion, he offered flowers to Dr. Roy's statue located near Kanyapur, expressing his reverence for him.
MLA Krishnendu Mukherjee said that Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy's entire life is an unparalleled example of service, dedication, and humanity. In his honor, National Doctors' Day is celebrated every year on July 1, which provides an opportunity for society to respect the contribution of doctors.
He said that Dr. Roy's ideals, work, and invaluable contribution to society will continue to inspire future generations. On this occasion, he extended heartfelt greetings to all doctors across the country on National Doctors' Day and bowed to their selfless service spirit.
