Fearless Bengali, Barabani: On the occasion of World Environment Day, BJP workers and supporters took part in the cleanliness drive in various areas of Barabani on Saturday. On this day, party workers are seen taking part in road cleaning, sweeping and drain cleaning. Women workers also actively participated in this program. The main objectives of this initiative are to demand BJP workers, create a clean environment and increase awareness among the common people. They appealed to the local residents to keep their houses and lawns clean. BJP leadership present in the program said that it is very important to maintain cleanliness in the interest of environmental protection and public health. For that purpose, this special cleaning campaign has been conducted keeping in mind the World Environment Day. On the other hand, during the program, some BJP workers raised allegations against the previous governments for not taking adequate initiatives to protect cleanliness. But no response was received from the concerned party in this regard. Through this program organized on the occasion of World Environment Day, the message of increasing public awareness about environmental protection and cleanliness is given, says BJP leadership.
