After the incident, state opposition party leader Shubhendra Adhikari went to Nandanpur village and met the family of Tapas Barik. He demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and held a meeting and warned the police administration in strong language. That meeting of Shubhendu Adhikari, within a few days yesterday, Trinamool held a meeting again. The meeting demanded that the fire at Tapas Barik's house was an accident and not a planned attack.
